Beeswax is a substance secreted by worker honey bees from four pairs of glands on the underside of their abdomens, and used by them for constuction of honeycomb. Beeswax is not on material but a mixture of many long chain molecules. This book reviews the production of beeswax by all honey bee species, the methods used by beekeepers to harvest beeswax, the way beeswax is process, and how it may be made into useful products like candles, creams and count.
