Dear Potential Veteran & Hero Participant,

You are being considered for a scholarship for the 2025 West Virginia Beekeepers Association Spring Conference Scholarship sponsored by the Marion County Beekeepers Association held on March 28&29, 2025.

We are excited to have you attend the conference and look forward to your feedback. For your scholarship to the conference, please note there are a few expectations, so we can receive feedback on your experience as an attendee and hopefully encourage other potential Veteran & Hero members to attend as well. We hope your feedback will also encourage our sponsors to continue their partnerships with us to help continue to make these scholarships possible. 

As a Veteran or Hero participant, your scholarship will be funded by the WV Department of Agriculture Veterans & Heroes program. In order to receive the scholarship, please complete the two attached application forms and return them to WVDA Veterans & Heroes to Agriculture vetstoag@wvda.us. Check out the flyer below for the benefits of the program.

The 2025 West Virginia Beekeepers Association Spring Conference is an approved venue for Veterans & Heroes members and will reimburse your conference fees.

Please provide a copy of your paid registration ticket for reimbursement.

 

What expectations are there for scholarship recipients after the conference? 

  1. Before attending the conference, both the membership and scholarship applications must be complete and received.

  2. Provide any feedback on your experience at the conference and how our Program can better support West Virginia.
